Our activities and services include:
- Representing the interests of the industry to the Health and Safety Commission (HSC), Government Departments and the European Union.
- Influencing future legislation through the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).
- Formulating guidance on Health and Safety matters in conjunction with the HSE and the appropriate Trade Unions.
- Identifying and interpreting the appropriate Health and Safety publications and guidance notes.
- Advising on Health and Safety Law and Practice.
- Assistance in drafting company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Carrying out Safety Audits, inspections and systems reviews for companies
- Provision of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) courses
