Job Title: Project Leader
Responsibilities:Specific responsibility for
environmental issues in the raw wool processing sector. Advice to companies
on dealing with all aspects of environmental legislation including preparation
of IPPC Site Reports, Applications and Improvement Programme documents.
Advice to companies on effluent treatment technologies and waste minimisation.
Management of the wool textile pesticide database. Member of IWTO Technical
Steering Committee and Chairman of Special Topics Group.
Background:Qualified to Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry. 5 years previous experience in the surface coatings and paper industries. International experience of wool R&D and environmental regulation in the textile industry for 14 years.
